This type of box was used for storing accessories and garments. This box is constructed in fir wood and finished with lacquer. Each corner is secured with secret mitered dovetail joints and the top and bottom are neatly attached with fine tongue and grooved joints. The lid of the box is secured with a brass cloud shaped hasp on a round back plate and the back has a pair of surface mounted hinges.
