This table is of typical North Suzhou style which keeps the traditional Ming style and craftsmanship similar to Northern Furniture. The front apron has a drawer. The
spandrels are in the shape of trailing plants with slight touch of relief carving decoration. The table top is supported with braces which tenoned joints are exposed on the front. A
small everted flange is found on each side to hide the end grains of the wood. The front and the back legs are supported with double stretchers.
