This daybed inherits the simple but animated spirit of Ming Style furniture. The bed frame is finished with a round and tapered surface. A high waist is used both for decoration and strengthening the construction. The inner edge of the legs and the aprons are beaded. The legs are straight and decorated with horse hoof style upturns. This bed has very good proportions and fine workmanship which can be seen on the execution of the legs and the overall form of the bed.
