A flush sided painting table with straight horse-hoof feet. The aprons are in the form of open carved dragons with tails of thunder spirals. This type of carving is very
typical of Qianlong period. This table was used as a painting table for scholar to practice calligraphy. The construction is of standard mitered frame members with a tongue and grooved
floating panel. The legs are mitered and tenoned to the top frame.
