This pair of tea/plant stands
retains most of its original black lacquer
finish. The carving on the waist is angular
begonia alternated with precious pearl. The
aprons are decorated with angular shaped
thunder spirals. This type of angular spiral
is more typical of the post-Qialong period.
The legs are straight and end in horse-hoof
feet. There is a base on each of these
stands. Also two braces are built under the
top panel to strengthen the construction.
