An unglazed red pottery horse with rider. The horse is depicted standing on four legs on a base with a rider playing a musical instrument which is now missing. This equestrian would have been part of the hunting procession. Normal procedures of imperial hunting included using music to commence the hunt which comprised of the hunters, falcons, and hunting dogs.
